Director of Finance

Developers generate significant revenues through appssavvy's integrated sponsorship capabilities for brands and agencies.

The Director of Finance will oversee Appssavvy’s financial activities and ensure the company’s financial health. Principal responsibilities include overseeing the financial reporting, short range and longer-term financial planning, general accounting, invoicing and partner payments, audit coordination, banking, and monthly cash flow, and overall controller functions. In addition, specific responsibilities may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Provide guidance and advice to the CEO, the Board, and other members of senior management on financial and business issues.
  • May be asked to provide financial strategies, objectives and business plans, including performance targets, policies and key metrics to achieve the Company’s overall business objectives. Manage monthly cash flow and quarterly forecast of revenue and expenses.
  • Successfully manage a broad range of internal and external constituencies, and maintain a balance between external (vendors, financing) and internal (such as processes, staff development analysis and reporting, etc.) responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the executive team on business activities. Provide guidance on vendor contracts, product line costing and review, and customer legal requirements.

Education

An undergraduate degree and CPA is required, preferably in a business-related discipline.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years of financial experience as Director level finance professional, preferably in the software, internet, or technology industry.

The person we seek will be an outstanding business person with an affinity for technology and marketing-enabled companies. He/she must be comfortable in the management and application of information technology, and development.

Successful candidate must be a CPA with preferably public or M&A/Post M&A experience. Since the position requires dealing with financial leaders of the other subsidiaries, strong leadership, communication and operations experience is required.
